ABOUT MY PAINTINGS
ABOUT MY PAINTINGS
The process is all absorbing and once started each stage of my design has to be completed before the resin cures - which happens very quickly. It may take several layers of resin and therefore very many hours, days, weeks of process depending on how complicated the piece is.
For me its all about the unknown - I can push the work in a certain way using the epoxy resin medium, beautiful fine pigments, silicone, substrate, layering etc. However, in the end, it is the chemical combinations and sometimes unpredictable reactions that determine the end results of my design. A beautiful combination of colours and texture. at
Each painting is unique because of the medium
resin and pigments used.

SHARING WITH OTHERS

I CONTINUE TO ATTEND CLASSES .....
I was born in London and live and work from my studio there. I have been painting in oil and acrylic for many years. I still attend art school one day a week and have done so consistently for five years. Painting can be a lonely experience and by attending classes I enjoy exchanging ideas and receiving the critique of my tutor and fellow students which can be inspiring and incredibly constructive.
My resin painting is something I have developed in my studio –
I absolutely love the unpredictable process.
I enjoy a very busy and fun social life with my partner, beautiful family and friends. We are fortunate to travel a lot and also spend time every year in South Africa and the US.
